BRACES

DR. FARHAN

The smile you deserve

Braces are a specialist orthodontic treatment used to straighten teeth for an improved smile and better oral health. If you have crowded or crooked teeth, wearing a brace can prevent negative long-term effects on your oral health by reducing the risk of tooth decay and gum disease. Braces work by putting pressure on your teeth to slowly guide them into the correct position and alignment. These are not a quick fix but the results are long-lasting.

CUSTOM TREATMENT PLANS CREATED BY OUR SPECIALIST ORTHODONTISTS

During your free consultation, a specialist orthodontist will assess the state of our teeth. They will recommend the best course of treatment for you. The best time to have braces is generally in childhood but it’s very common for adults to also seek treatment for their misaligned teeth. There are many different types that can be used, including: Invisalign, metal braces, ceramic braces, lingual braces and damon braces. All of them are designed to be comfortable. But some, such as Invisalign or ceramic, are preferred due to their discreet appearance. Your specialist orthodontist can explain all the options available.

invisalign

invisalign
Invisalign is the first choice for those who want to feel less self-conscious about wearing braces. Our specialist orthodontists will work with you to create a custom treatment plan to straighten your teeth and give you the smile you deserve. Their technology means that the clear aligners are shaped to fit your gum line to exert pressure on the teeth instead of metal braces.

metal braces

metal braces
Metal braces are the most traditional form of braces for straightening your teeth. They’ve been around for about 50 years! They are made of stainless steel or titanium brackets and wires that work to move misaligned teeth back into their correct place. This orthopedic treatment works to move the teeth slowly by creating tension using the wire attached to the metallic brackets, to guide the teeth into alignment. Rubber bands are used to keep the wire in place.

ceramic braces

ceramic braces
If you’re looking for a more discreet style of brace, then ceramic braces are for you. They act like traditional metal braces, but use a tooth colored bracket instead of a metal one. This enables it to blend into your teeth and makes it not stand out as much as other braces. The archwire can also be tooth-colored or clear, making ceramic braces nearly invisible.

lingual braces

lingual braces
If you’re looking for a more discreet style of brace, then lingual braces are for you. The majority of people don’t like the look of traditional metal braces. These braces are a fantastic option if you’re self-conscious about how braces look and don’t want to draw attention to your dental work. These braces have the same components as traditional braces, but they’re fixed to the back of your teeth instead of the front.

damon braces

damon braces
Damon braces focus more on just the traditional teeth alignment that other braces work to fix. With a Damon smile, the health of your teeth and gums are a priority in order to provide you with a beautiful, natural smile. Damon brackets are available in both metal and clear brackets. These braces have been around for 20+ years and have delivered over 7 million smiles around the world.
