We bring you the newest generation of microneedling with radio frequency, the Vivace microneedle RF device (also known as collagen induction therapy). This minimally-invasive treatment stimulates the natural production of collagen and is shown to be effective in treating facial wrinkles, fine lines, tightening and toning the face and neck. This state of the art technique is a multi-purpose treatment that can treat everything from wrinkles, acne, acne scars and stretch marks.
Are tired of trying all the creams and ‘magical’ serums available in the world, but are still left looking for a cost-effective and long lasting way of removing hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and acne scars? You should visit us at Queens Medical Center and try microneedling. It is the most revolutionary skin tightening system for face and neck with immediate and pain-free results. It’s also minimally invasive.
Microneedling treatment is a quick and simple procedure that requires about 30-60 minutes to complete. Our dermatologist will start the session with cleansing your skin to properly remove all the germs and dirt. Next, they will apply a topical numbing cream to give you the most comfortable and painless experience.
After that, they will use the vivace device, which is a pen with tiny needles, and roll it over the skin to make micro channels in order to penetrate the top layer of the skin. When it reaches the dermal layer, it will deliver heat to the tissues which stimulates collagen production. Finally, healing cream or serum will be applied to create an optimal patient experience that may save you from more invasive procedures in the future.
Microneedling has long term satisfying results. Every skin is unique, and the period in which the results last differ from one person to the other. However, after your first session, the skin remodeling process and collagen production will continue for months and results can last up to three months. Some people notice differences right after the session and some within ten days.
Everybody’s skin responds differently, but most skins will need multiple sessions, four to six weeks apart. Number of sessions needed will depend on the patient’s healing ability and the desired results. During your consultation visit to Queens Medical Center, the dermatologist will diagnose your skin and advise you on the frequency and number of sessions you may need.
